The Defined Contribution (DC) Marketing team sits within the Global Institutional and DC Marketing team and partners with cross-line-of-business teams and specialist marketing functions on the day-to-day and strategic projects to drive the continual enhancement of JPMorgans client experience. We serve large Defined Contribution Institutional clients and Advisors who serve small and mid-market DC plans. This position reports into the Head of Defined Contribution Marketing, based in Columbus, OH.

The Role

The Defined Contribution (DC) Marketing Manager, will work with the DC Institutional Sales team and DC Advisory Sales teams to deliver impactful, strategic, creative and innovative marketing programs aligned to our business priorities.

The role will be involved in the day-to-day implementation of the marketing strategy and operations with a focus on digital first communications across web, email, social, multi-media, measurement and data management as part of the on-going development of J.P. Morgans client experience. We are looking for someone who brings a different voice to the team, understands how data can be leveraged to tell a story and inform best practices and enjoys thinking differently about the challenges facing our business.

Responsibilities

* Distribution strategy: Develop and support marketing strategy for the DC Institutional and DC Advisory audiences
* Develop, execute and mange client journeys, based on tiering and engagement objectives
* Lead large-scale marketing initiatives, partnering with Sales, Investment Specialists, Event Program Management, Training, and Shared Services teams. Initiatives include advertising, web, social media, industry conferences, internal events, market research, thought-leadership, and major sales programs to build awareness and grow the defined contribution business
* Digital communication delivery and enhancements: Own the digital communications and project management across team, including email and web. Identify opportunities to leverage extensive technology platform, including business intelligence, to drive efficiencies and scale communications programs
* Build and develop the right data reporting framework to support business objectives: Partner to deliver quality improvements and surfacing of engagement opportunities for expediting of lead generation
* Using data to tell a story and drive initiatives, resources, efficiencies and changes for the business
* Business enhancement: Define workflow models for best practice process management and reporting against KPIs
* Contribute to creating an environment where diversity of thought and experience is welcomed and encouraged
* Support and foster the global team working model partnering and building trust with colleagues across the globe, region and LOB

Required Skills / Qualifications

* Minimum 6+ years marketing experience in a B2B sector
* Knowledge and interest in defined contribution and retirement, including retirement income
* Expertise in delivery of digital and traditional marketing solutions in collaboration with internal and external partners and resources
* Understanding and experience of Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools, ideally Salesforce
* Project management, with excellent attention to detail, solid organization skills and the ability to accurately manage large volumes of information
* Insight driven, with the ability to learn and understand the needs of prospects and clients, and the distribution needs to support pipeline development
* Demonstrate innovation by challenging convention and identify opportunities to develop unique, competitive sales and marketing programs
* Ability to develop relationships with global marketing directors and managers, sales and investment professionals, lead through influence
* An effective team player, with ability to work alone and partner with people of all levels across multiple locations
* The ability to develop credibility and trust through consistent delivery of quality outcomes across a matrix within and beyond Marketing
* Attention to detail, achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved
* Strong communication skills, demonstrating grammatical expertise; Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to proofread
* Proficiencies in in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
