This role will support Mission Systems Operations and will serve to support leaders and employees in Operations. Travel to other affiliated facilities may be required on occasion. The position will influence and support leaders by understanding and articulating business needs and translating them into HR strategies and tactics. The position will play a role in supporting the implementation of major HR initiatives and annual processes such as salary planning, organizational restructuring, talent management, and succession planning. The individual will work closely with business leadership and HR Representatives to consult/advise on HR matters and to orchestrate HR services as needed within the business environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Supports the effective implementation of enterprise-wide and/or business-specific talent policies, processes and programs (eg talent management, succession planning, salary planning, inclusion & diversity initiatives, etc).
* Partner with leadership to identify solutions that improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.
* Provides recommendations and guidance to leadership regarding promotions, transfers, and new hires.
* Daily work may be a blend of tactical vs. strategic work in support of the business.
* Ensures Corporate and site policies and procedures are communicated, adhered to and understood by all employees.
Basic Qualifications:
* Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelors degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.
* Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
* Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time
* Ability to translate business opportunities into effective HR solutions
* Experience influencing leaders
* Ability to develop and effectively leverage relationships across HR and within the business unit
* Experience assessing and developing talent
* Experience coaching leaders on HR issues
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Employee and/or Labor Relations
* Ability to set direction, make effective decisions, and influence and motivate others to achieve business objectives
* Ability to conduct effective presentations, facilitate meetings; ability to be approachable and empathetic to employee needs
* Ability to understand the total HR framework from strategy through implementation; possesses reasonably broad HR domain knowledge in areas such as Leadership Development, Change Management, Employee Effectiveness, Compensation & Recruiting.
