The Medical Analytics Manager is an experienced pharmaceutical industry professional who has experience managing teams to efficiently curate and analyze data to help inform and drive strategy. Medical Analytics Manager has to be proficient in various aspects of advanced analytics to support (but not limited too) collection of medical insights, clinical trial performance, field medical and medical performance in order to drive performance.
Key demonstrated skill level for a Medical Analytics Manager are as follows:
* Drives and tracks performance of Medical Analytics team (including contractors and off-shore team members) and ensures objectives are met.
* Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects with minimal oversight
* Aware of potential risks that may impact the successful delivery of objectives by recognizing and identifying problems and contributing to the mitigation plan
* Ability to grasp needs of the Lead (s) and appropriately create a project plan.
* Ability to quickly assimilate new skills and integrate core procedures as well as to provide functional input into updating/enhancing procedures.

Key Responsibilities and Major Duties
* Partner with BI&A therapeutic Leads to create plan to provide data analytic support and analysis for Field Medical and Medical benchmarking and performance
* Provides input into project scope and timing, and necessary resource allocation
* Manages data analyst/consultants to ensure timely delivery of requested data analytics/insights to support business
* Responsible for tracking and evaluating performance towards execution of TA specific Medical Analytics plan.
* Conducting regular and timely meetings with data analyst and extended BI&A matrix
* Monitoring quality of data collection and analysis
* Providing regular updates to Medical Analytics Leads and Head
* Regular meetings with Medical Analytics Associate Directors to review Book of Work and ensure team has capacity.
* Continuous training in BMS platforms to ensure deep understanding of data infrastructure and how data analytics can be applied
* Partner with Medical Capabilities, IT, and extended matrix to ensure the necessary infrastructure and capabilities are there for BI&A to support data analysis
* Core member of Medical Analytics leadership team
* Serves as an extended member of the Medical Analytics leadership team.
* Supports ad-hoc analyses, for more advanced data insights, to address specific business needs (e.g. understanding trends within or across different therapeutic areas to identify opportunities for improvement
* Provides data insights/analytics, as needed, to support governance and/or operational review meetings.
* Leads/ contributes to functional and cross-functional initiatives that center on the sharing of best practices
List of minimum requirements
* Degree/Certification/ Licensure
* BS/BA degree; preferably in a scientific discipline or allied health field (e.g. information science, epidemiology, life sciences). Advanced degree beneficial.
* Experience Responsibility and minimum number of years
* 4+ years career experience, including 2 years of experience in data analytics
* Clinical or pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience preferred
* Experience managing teams (both on site and remote) and tracking performance to ensure timely execution of projects teams
* Work in cross-functional teams with proven track record managing multiple projects and priorities.
