The team is seeking a General Surgeon - this is an exciting time to be part of an incredible program and part of the growth.

This role will be responsible for direct patient and will respond to ED calls. The position will be part of the core faculty. This is a new ACGME approved surgical residency. Faculty will be involved with both clinical teaching as well as administrative oversight of the program. The program has a total of 28 surgical residents and will graduate 4 residents per year. There is opportunities to do research as well as academic appointment with local medical schools.

The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified or board eligible in General Surgery and demonstrate a strong interest in teaching residents and medical students.

As part of an academic Acute Care Surgery group, your responsibilities will include general surgery resident education as well as clinical staff duties for general surgery.
