Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Medical Director and the Director of Nursing, the Pre-Admit Nurse is responsible for the pre-admission nursing process of preparing patients prior to their surgeries/procedures. The Pre-Admit Nurse will complete pre-operative/pre-procedure assessments and coordination, which may include but is not limited to, recording patients' medical history, coordinating/scheduling testing, and providing instructions to patients and their families to ensure they are adequately prepared for their surgery/procedure.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.

Previous experinece in an outpatient surgical setting or in an acute care setting in the operating room with no less than 3 years experience.

Current BLS certification.

Current ACLS certification.
