Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Compensation leads a team of professionals responsible for analyzing and assessing the efficacy of TWDC compensation programs and practices in achieving the goal of effectively attracting, motivating, and retaining world class talent across The Walt Disney Company.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the implementation of both proactive and reactive analyses with the goal of objectively assessing the efficacy of compensation programs and practices across the enterprise
* As necessary, collaborate with key stakeholders (including Segment Compensation teams, various HR COEs, and Corporate Legal) in conducting internal assessments, establishing associated action plans, and identifying key linkages with related HR processes
* With a focus on internal equity, help to promote the consistent application of compensation programs across the enterprise by identifying opportunities to refine and subsequently communicate/educate on effective compensation practices
* Partner with Legal Counsel on fair pay review and analysis
* Continually expand functional expertise and knowledge by actively seeking technical guidance and monitoring industry best practices that can influence the design of compensation programs and practices; document and share findings from both internal assessments and external information scanning with key partners
* Lead and develop a small team of professionals in achieving departmental objectives
Basic Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience in analyzing and solving complex business issues; experience in the Compensation field is preferred, but not required
* Ability to make independent decisions, recommendations and influence varying audiences based on analysis of data
* Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly with the ability to effectively communicate complex information
* Ability to effectively navigate and collaborate in a large, matrixed corporate work setting
* Proven ability to achieve objectives in a dynamic, often ambiguous, environment
* Inherently curious with exceptional analytical skills (demonstrated experience conducting and interpreting statistical analyses, such as multi-variate regression, is preferred)
* Experience consolidating and manipulating large data sets
* Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. SAP, Workday) and employee data is strongly preferred
* Consulting experience a plus
