Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
* Collaborates with the Psychiatrist and other treatment team members to assist patients and families
* Uses a variety of treatment modalities to assist patients and families in the alleviation or resolution of social, financial and emotional problems related to illness, health care, and rehabilitation.
* Work with patients with Mental Health Diagnoses, Substance Abuse issues, and health conditions.
* Complete assessments and schedule family/support system meetings, and make referral to appropriate levels of care.
* Participate in daily treatment meetings and run Cognitive Behavioral Therapy groups

Qualifications

Education Requirements
* Master's Degree from an accredited school of Social Work(Preferred)
* Bachelore's of Social Work Degree (required).

Certification and Licensure Requirements:
* Pennsylvania License as an LSW or LCSW. (Preferred)

Experience and Skills:
* Experience working in a Behavioral health setting, inpatient behavioral health experience preferred.
* Good knowledge of the principles and practices of social work, good understanding of community health, welfare, and social agencies
* Must adhere to National Association of Social Workers' Code of Ethics.
