Patient Care Assistant Per Diem Day Shift Central Campus
Provides individualized, culture-specific patient care by attending to the personal needs and comfort of patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists the professional or licensed nurse as delegated in tasks requiring less technical skills. Participates in shift and bedside report. Participates and supports regional, facility, department, and unit initiatives.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent customer service skills; basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors and health care team members. Knowledge of patient rights, aseptic/sterile technique and infection control best practices.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

- One year of experience in as a nursing assistant; or in lieu of experience,
- Current CNA certificate, or LNA license from the Arizona State Board of Nursing; or
- Completed block one/first year of nursing school; or
- Completion of formal PCA/PCT/CNA education program from an accredited institution.
