Who we are looking for

* The DataGX division at State Street Corporation is looking for an IT professional with more than 5 years of IT experience to be part of our application development team with a demonstrated expertise in Oracle SQL, Pl/Sql, support and release management process, and scripting experiences. The selected candidate will play a key role in the development of our new product capabilities as well as continued refinement of our existing applications providing database, application and release support. This role will be responsible for providing application support utilizing mixed resource models including off shore, near shore and co-located development staff.

What you will be responsible for

As a developer you will

* 5 years experience in IT developing data solutions & Data Warehousing.
* Experience in Oracle database, Oracle PL/ SQL packages, Stored procedures, Performance Tuning & design and develop various relational database.
* Experience with working on a UNIX/Linux platform with strong scripting skills.
* Experience with developing using Java Python Messaging frameworks AWK and shell scripting & Linux
* Experience with designing & architecting SQL databases like Oracle database, MYSQL with hands on backend systems development & data warehouse platform design experience
* Must have project release management and deployment experience using github and other tools
* Experience in designing and building conceptual/logical data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.
* Experience in financial industry working on financial reporting/regulatory projects is a plus. Domain knowledge of financial industry concepts Securities 101 Capital Markets 101 etc. is desirable.
* Experience in Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
* Work closely with the business & IT stake holders in the release management process
* Work with development teams to resolve the query performance and release related issues
