Responsible for technical support of Qualcomm's growing product portfolio for Snapdragon Mobile Data Modem and Power Management ASICs for 1x-CDMA, 1x-EVDO/RevA/RevB, WCDMA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE, HSPA+, LTE, and position location. These ASICs include interfaces for various kinds of FLASH & DDR memories as well as peripherals interfaces such as SPI, PCIe, I2S, I2C, USB, SIM, UART, GPIOs, MIPI RFFE, etc. They also include interfaces to other Qualcomm devices such as RF and WLAN ASICS.
Responsibilities
Candidate will have direct interface with Qualcomm customers supporting Baseband and Power Management chipset solution. He or she will work closely with customers to deliver training on Qualcomm chipset, participating in PCB schematic reviews, layout reviews, layout simulations, board bring up and troubleshooting. Candidate will also interact with different cross functional teams within an organization such as ASIC Design, Systems, Verification, Testing and Software.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Computer Architecture Design that includes high speed parallel and serial interfaces such as SPI, I2C, USB, PCIe, UART, GPIO, etc.
Power Management Design that includes Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) and LDO
Thorough understanding of CMOS based combinational and sequential circuits
Frequency Domain and Time Domain Analysis of the high-speed signals
Analog and Digital Filter Design
PCB (Printed Circuit Board) schematic and understanding of layout design concepts
Analytical skill of troubleshooting issues found in PCB and deliver solution
Hardware lab equipment experience using
- Digital oscilloscope and logic analyzer
- Power analyzer and load box
- Multimeter, etc.
Familiar with the soldering skills on PCB
Excellent communication (English - both written and verbal) and teamwork skills, proactive, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and produce quality work in a multi-tasking environment.
