Job Purpose: Lead Corporate Quality Assurance teams supporting Global Laboratory Operations (Analytical & and Microbiology) and Systems across the network to drive sustainable improvement. Collaborate with Global and Operating Units Quality resources as well as other critical partners (e.g. R&D) in assuring Laboratory Operations and Systems (e.g. Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) are fit for purpose across the global network of Product Supply sites. Demonstrate deep knowledge of QA/QC analytical techniques as well as Regulatory expertise across a diverse set of P&G Operating Units and Businesses to ensure P&G laboratories and systems deliver a competitive drive advantage for the Company.
Major Accountabilities:
* Lead the process of developing integrated Laboratory Quality solutions and plans across sites; corporately enabled and sector led implementations
* Trouble-shoot on Quality and Technical / Operational issues across the network. Develop efficient and effective strategies for problem solving and implementation.
* Support CQA organization in optimizing quality, value, time, resources and minimizing risks in both regulated and lesser regulated businesses.
* Facilitate decision making within Quality Leadership teams
* Design solutions and scope Laboratory network projects to address high priority compliance and site issues, including Innovation.
* Optimize and progress of project plans (time, resources).
* Lead Quality efforts at or across sites as part of larger Global projects.
* Present strategic issues to P&G leadership as the Corporate QA Laboratory Subject Matter Authority. Provide technical evaluation of the proposals made to these decision bodies.
* Develop and implement team-building strategies to nurture high-functioning teams.
* Identify and implement cross-functional alignments, improvements, and cost-savings.
* Optimize CQA budgets and facilitate the budget review process.
* Provide leadership in areas of willingness & sustainability, Supplier Quality, Quality Risk Management, and Laboratory Compliance initiatives Key Performance Indicators
* Success in key Quality indicators within CQA control
* Drive positive progress in Quality Laboratory Transformation Projects
* Successfully resolve Quality, and Technical and operational issues in conjunction with other functions.
* Ensuring stretched goals and objectives are met in accordance with strategic goals.
* Successful control of budgets and timelines.
* Timely completion of Development plans, Objectives, and periodic progress reports for staff
Qualifications
* 15-20 years of Pharmaceutical Quality Control and Quality Assurance experience with an emphasis on cGMP Laboratory compliance across multiple regulatory agencies, supporting manufacturing operations.
* Expertise in QC/QA Work processes, pharmaceutical testing and manufacturing processes, and history of successful inspection outcomes by various Boards of Health.
* Leadership of large multinational Quality organizations, demonstrated ability to influence leaders at all levels of the organization.
* Extensive Quality and Laboratory Systems implementations across diverse regulatory landscapes.
* Minimum BS degree in Chemistry or equivalent, MS or PhD preferred.
