Our Food Manufacturing Plant located in Riverside, CA has an opening for a detailed oriented Sanitation personnel, supporting the Riverside Grocery Commissary.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor, the desired candidate will be involved in cleaning and sanitizing food production processing equipment throughout the facility. This position requires self-driven initiative and the ability to perform tasks with limited supervision following company established protocols and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures.
The selected candidate must demonstrate effective skills at completing assigned tasks, as well as adherence to safety and environmental protocols. The candidate must also communicate well verbally and in writing. Sanitation assignments include: Food Production Machinery and Equipment, pumping food ingredients, cleaning drains, floors, lights, windows, ceilings, rest rooms, break rooms, small tools/accessories, and other areas of the facility as needed.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have food manufacturing, food industry, or previous sanitation experience. This position will require skill sets including working in a GMP compliant facility knowledge of SQF, FDA, USDA regulations. Must be able to work in a wet and cold environment throughout shift. The position requires thorough plant sanitation events & documentation, will require standing and walking for extended periods of time, ability to communicate to team members & management throughout the workday regarding critical tasks. This position regularly works 3rd shift hours between 10PM and 630AM. Based on needs of the business, hours and days may vary and include overtime.

Skaggs to open his first Albertsons store on 16th and State Streets in Boise, Idaho. Joe was innovative, too. He had one of the first in-store magazine racks in the country along with a scratch bakery and fresh ice cream made in-store. He worked hard, seven days a week, on his vision to build his company, and through his inspiring work ethic and tireless
determination to run the best store, the first store thrived. Just two years later, he had opened two other stores in neighboring communities and grew the fledgling company’s sales to over $1 million by the end of 1941.
