Facebook seeks an experienced product marketing leader to drive the go-to-market strategy for Facebooks business signals and integrity solutions for small businesses. These business areas include a portfolio of products and policies that empower people and businesses to purposefully share data and have trust-worthy experiences on the platform, especially as we prepare for upcoming browser technology, operating systems, and regulatory changes.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, skilled operator, and expert influencer with the demonstrated ability to drive consensus across product, marketing, and sales teams. Managing a team of leads and individual contributors, this individual will drive planning for the portfolio, synthesize market feedback for product development and risk mitigation, and collaborate with key stakeholders to set go-to-market priorities and goals. The ideal candidate will have a history of building and leading high-performing teams, an understanding of Facebooks product suite, and a passion for ensuring that Facebook remains a safe and trusted environment for people and businesses. It will also be important for this person to be a cross-functional team player who is comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
This is a full-time position. There is an expectation of global travel in the future.
Director, Business Product Marketing, SMB, Business Signals & Integrity Responsibilities
* Recruit, manage, and inspire a diverse, high-performing team of product marketers across distributed offices
* Play a key role in developing the holistic business signals and integrity strategies for small businesses
* Develop annual and semi-annual plans to build trust, mitigate risk, and drive small business growth through this portfolio of solutions
* Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Partnerships, Measurement, and Data Science, to develop programs that advance goals
* Distill and surface market feedback to inform product roadmaps and improve business signals and integrity products and policies for small businesses
* Facilitate ongoing, timely, and proactive executive communications to Small Business Group leadership regarding business signals and integrity product plans and updates
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree
* 12+ years professional experience in product marketing, product strategy, general management, or consulting
* Understanding of Facebooks product suite, industry, and competitive landscape as it relates to small businesses
* Experience building and managing teams. Experience selecting, attracting, motivating, retaining, and developing leaders and team members
* Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization
* Experience simplifying complexity and effectively communicating with business and technical executives, as well as external stakeholders
* Experience bringing products to market and growing their adoption, a focus on client service, and experience thriving in a highly cross-functional, dynamic environment
