Northrop Grumman is seeking a mid-level to senior level Cyber Info. Assurance Analyst for the Elkton, MD location. *Elkton is approx. 1 hour 39;s drive north of Baltimore, MD and 1 hour 39;s drive south of Philadelphia, PA

Job Description:

Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. This is achieved through passive evaluations such as compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments. Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits. Assist in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM,DAAPM), make recommendations on process tailoring, participate in and document process activities. Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST amp;E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports. Document the results of Certification and Accreditation (C amp;A) activities and technical or coordination activity and prepare the System Security Plans (SSP) and manage and submit the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA amp;M).

Perform Continuous Monitoring (CONMON) activities throughout the lifecycle of the system. Periodically conduct a complete review of each system 39;s audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.

This position may be filled at a Level 3 or Level 4, based on the qualifications listed below.

Level 3 Basic Qualifications:

* Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance (Last investigation within the five years).
* Must have 3 years of experience with a Master 39;s Degree; OR 5 years of experience with a Bachelor rsquo;s Degree; OR 7 years of experience with an Associate 39;s Degree; OR 9 years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
* Current DoD 8570 IAM II or IAM III security certification (Examples: CAP, CASP+, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC) OR the ability to obtain within 6 months of the start date.

Level 4 Basic Qualifications:

* Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance (Last investigation within the five years).
* Must have 7 years of experience with a Master 39;s Degree; OR 9 years of experience with a Bachelor rsquo;s Degree; OR 11 years of experience with an Associate 39;s Degree; OR 13 years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
* Current DoD 8570 IAM III security certification (Examples: CISM, CISSP or GSLC) OR the ability to obtain within 6 months of the start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

* RMF amp; JSIG knowledge/experience
* Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA amp;Ms, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and DSS and/or JSIG system security package development are highly desirable.
* NIST 800-53 knowledge/experience
