Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS amp;A) Principal Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will be part of the Payload Team with the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program (Minuteman III ICBM replacement) development contract. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force rsquo;s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

Duties will include:

* Develop models to simulate and evaluate hardware performance
* Perform model validation through test and analysis
* Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for missile system payloads
* Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis
* Create technical reports and present analysis results
* Interface with AF customer

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualification

You rsquo;ll Bring These Qualifications:

* Minimum of 5 years of related experience with Bachelor of Science or 3 years of experience with Masters of Science degree
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
* Great problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Good verbal and written communications skills for presentation of technical approaches, work performed, results, and findings
* Active Secret Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Experience with ICBMs
* Experience in software development
* Experience in using Matlab and its toolboxes
* Experience in DoD or aerospace product development and manufacturing
* Top Secret Clearance
