Job Description
IT Business Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Analyze IT requirements in business processes, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis, and collaboration across IT teams. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with requirements, business, and systems analysis
-Experience with managing a team backlog
-Ability to develop specific requirements to serve as the build-to specification for development
-Ability to serve as the development team representative during user acceptance testing for clarifying the intended functional behavior of software
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with UI/UX practices
-Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL
-Ability to prioritize requirements, including in a specific software release by identifying relationships and dependencies between requirements and estimation of technical effort
-Ability to serve as the product owner and liaise between the technical team and the client to establish a common understanding of requirements and the as-built product
-Ability to contribute to the preparation for and delivery of software system demonstrations to the user community
