Vulnerability Modeling and Simulation Analyst, Junior
Key Role:
Conduct aircraft vulnerability analysis and improve the vulnerability analysis tools. Improve the survivability of aircraft platforms by determining their vulnerability to kinetic energy threat engagements. Conduct vulnerability analyses by adjusting and simplifying Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models. Perform vulnerability analysis to characterize the damage caused by kinetic threat engagements utilizing government owned simulations. Perform detailed analyses and engineering judgement to compare the simulation outputs with predicted hypotheses.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with CAD modeling software
Experience with software development and testing.
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with software testing frameworks.
Experience with using scripting languages to post-process outputs to compile analysis results and develop insights and conclusions
Experience with Fortran
Experience in a UNIX or Linux command-line environment
Knowledge of the DoD and foreign threat ground, maritime, and air domain weapon systems
MA or MS degree
