Emergency Management Training Professional, Senior
Key Role:
Manage test, training, and exercise activities that enable organizations to achieve mission assurance by preparing for, preventing, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from emergencies. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies. This position requires travel regionally, nationally, and internationally on an as needed basis.
Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with leading government exercises in the Intelligence Community
-Experience with supporting the continuity of operations for federal clients
-Experience with working in or with the Intelligence Community
-Knowledge of governance, policy, strategic planning, and strategic communications
-Ability to travel regionally, nationally, and internationally, as needed
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree
-Federal Emergency Management Agency Master Exercise Practitioner Certification
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with mission assurance or emergency management
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree
-Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HESSP) Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
