DESCRIPTION

Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) is the team that powers worldwide operations for Prime Now, Whole Foods, Fresh, AMXL (heavy/bulky), Pantry and more. Our team is looking for a Program Manager with strong project management experience to own and execute strategic and cross-functional operations projects. This PM will focus on World Wide optimization of the under the roof fulfilment and last mile delivery processes for all GSF businesses, working with stake holders across operations and technology teams. GSF is at the forefront of ultra-fast and specialty delivery innovation and is relentlessly pursuing opportunities to raise the bar. This role will play a key part in making that a reality World Wide.

The ideal candidate for the role will be creative and driven, with strong communication and negotiation skills, allowing them to lead a team through an ambiguous space. Rapid experimentation, iteration, and ultimately delivering results are key. The candidate should have strong interest in operations, optimization, and project management. This is a fast space, with the opportunity to have a quick and meaningful impact on Amazons customers World Wide.

Responsibilities include:
Process mapping of fulfilment operations across GSF businesses
Developing strategy for increasingly simplified processes for enabling seamless process execution by associates
Delivering solutions that will be business agnostic, yet cater to the different complexities that exist across various GSF business environments
Drive innovation across processes to continuously lower costs while facilitating quality
Creating, managing, and communicating project roadmaps
Thinking strategically and implementing solutions that can scale to meet the scope of the GSF organization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelors degree in Business, Management, or other technical field or equivalent experience
3+ years of professional experience, including experience operating in highly cross-functional and fast-paced environments
Intermediate to advance experience with MS , Word, and SharePoint

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in Business, Management, or other technical field or equivalent experience
3+ years of professional experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to cater these communications to different audiences
Prior experience working with tech teams to build technology-based tools/solutions that will reduce cost and improve the overall program
Prior experience influencing teams that are responsible for managing operations
Ability to problem solve independently
