The value that Stores provides to customers is the ability to browse and discover new and best-selling products curated by their favorite brands, while aiding with discovery of new brands. The Amazon Stores program is becoming increasingly important and is at a strategic intersection between advertising and retail. We provide a compelling destination for brand advertising campaigns, and also enable stores to be organically discovered through the Amazon shopping journey. We operate sophisticated front-end, API and big data technologies across all of Amazon, and we partner with teams across Amazon retail, advertisement, marketplace and core shopping. This position requires you to have a GM mindset. You need to think like a CEO, yet execute like theres nothing beneath you. As a Sr. Product Manager on the Stores team, you will: (1) Develop an ambitious product roadmap for brands looking to grow their presence on Amazon, and brand-focused shoppers; (2) Simplify solutions and launch/ test/ iterate/ learn quickly; and (3) Deliver scalable global products/platforms that enables branded content to be surfaced to shoppers throughout Amazon
Our products and initiatives are highly strategic, and visible across Amazon's senior leadership. The role requires someone with a strong understanding of, and desire to deeply learn customer needs, experience building consumer facing products from the ground up, excellent analytic skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external partners at senior (principal and director) levels. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly goal-oriented, and with a track record of delivering solid results.
This role can be based out of Seattle or New York (NYC).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
5+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
Bachelor's Degree
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or advanced degree in a related field
Experience prioritizing and supporting the work of multiple consumer-facing products
Basic SQL + Excel skills
Experience working in a startup environment
Ability to work well with a variety of people in various technical levels
