DESCRIPTION
It is Day 1 for Pharmacy at Amazon and we need a Finance Manager to join our Pharmacy team and be the Finance lead for our controllership programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Pharmacy leadership and will be responsible for controllership, pricing deep dives, building financial metrics and reporting, leadership updates, and forecasting and analysis. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, have excellent deep dive and technical skills, and have the ability to articulate complex analyses in a clear and succinct manner.
Primary responsibilities:
Own Finance controllership of payer and procurement contracts within Pharmacy.
Support strategic plans that improve key business partner relationships related to payer reimbursement and adjustments.
Lead the development of models, tools processes to evaluate and manage reimbursement for Amazon Pharmacy.
Liaison with key business partners and internal resources to implement best practices and drive continues improvement.
Lead key analytical projects that assist and influence the business.
Partner with Pharmacy Finance leadership and internal stakeholders to build new KPI reporting for Amazon Pharmacy and PillPack businesses
Working directly with the business team and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations and help inform long-term strategic decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA and/or CPA desired.
Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams, dive deep into the details, and present findings to senior management.
Strong analytic, financial modeling, and reporting skills, excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strength in structured problem solving and ability to be highly organized.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads; ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment; comfortable with ambiguity.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, knowledge of Cognos/TM1, experience with SQL or other statistical software.
Advanced analytic skills and strong orientation to detail, with a demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models, perform variance analysis, and communicate results clearly.
