Prime Video is an industry leading, high-growth business and a critical driver of Amazon Prime subscriptions, which contribute to customer loyalty and lifetime value. Prime Video is used daily by a massive audience on Amazon's websites and through a variety of devices including the Kindle Fire, game consoles, smart TVs and Blu-ray players. Prime Video is a digital video streaming and download service that offers Amazon customers the ability to rent, purchase or subscribe to a huge catalog of videos. Movies range from new releases to classic favorites, and Prime Video offers major television episodes, entire seasons, or even day after they air on TV.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead finance for our US Subscription Video on Demand business (SVOD). SVOD is a key strategic component of the overall Prime Video business and this role requires close partnership with the Prime Video leadership as well as the analytics teams to understand the value of Video as a key benefit for the Prime customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial planning and analysis effort and forecast all the key metrics for the business and highlight risks and opportunities
- Report on the financial and business performance for the US business and lead in the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reviews
- Influence business decision by effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of alternatives
-Leading ad hoc financial analyses and new business development initiatives Leading and participating as the key finance stakeholder in cross functional teams
-Driving cross-business analytic projects for senior management, with financial modeling, data mining and presentation support

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

12+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA from a highly regarded business school
Strong financial planning & analytical skills;
Advanced Excel & business modeling skills required
Persuasive oral/written communication skills
Deep knowledge in financial software and systems including Excel, COGNOS or comparable forecast aggregation software
Strong track record of hiring and managing teams
Prior P&L Management Experience
