The AWS Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Shared Services and Business Operations team is seeking an effective, talented, and experienced senior level individual to play a critical role leading the WWPS Partner Business Operations program management team within Public Sector. They will be responsible for coordinated development and management of a multi-year strategy and roadmap to deliver consolidated partner revenue reporting and analytics for AWS. This is a career defining opportunity for a proven cross-functional leader to lead this effort within WWPS.
Close partnership with leaders and organizations outside of your immediate team will be necessary, as you will compile data and information that will influence decisions at the most senior levels in Amazon. Successful candidates should have strong writing, communication, program management, analytical, and organizational skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Key priorities of the role include:
Advance Amazons leadership principles including driving a culture of customer obsession, deep dive decision-making, bias for action, invent and simplify, ownership of processes and deliver results.
Establish the partner business operations program management function for WWPS.
Own the development and execution of scalable solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support analytical and business needs.
Provide oversight of enhancement work impacting global partner organizations. Develop next-gen revenue recognition methodologies to encompass the complexities of the partner business and various go to market strategies.
Sustain a culture of continuous improvement and transformation
Generate metrics and deliver regular reports on progress against KPIs and status report impact regularly to internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with corporate teams to influence the roadmap for enhanced business intelligence and CRM tools to support the business.
Develop strong, productive relationships across peer organization that further our business objectives.
Manage complex and quick-turn projects while demonstrating exceptional business judgement.
Role will be based out of Washington, D.C. metro area or Seattle, WA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
At least 8+ years of business writing skills
At least 8+ years of program management experience - Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
At least 5+ years of experience with analyzing and reporting complex data in Excel in order to identify issues, trends or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience diagnosing, isolating and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing solutions to resolve problems.
MBA or other relevant advanced degree
Experience working within a high-growth, technology company (cloud computing, SaaS, PaaS, etc.) would be highly beneficial
Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization and to turn ideas into concrete action plans
Ability to develop strong, productive relationships across peer organizations that foster collaboration and best practice sharing.
