This position will play a pivotal role in developing a consistent training strategy, ensuring alignment across businesses, and improving both learner experience and safety outcomes. This position will support the companys overall EHS training program; from assisting with creation and maintenance of training materials to assessing how to leverage externally available content, your work will directly support our companys goal to be the safest.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both EHS fields and training/instructional design, allowing them to utilize both skill sets to make recommendations on training strategy and approaches. This role will be based in our Allentown or Houston offices and will collaborate closely with peers across the globe.

Responsibilities:

* Provide guidance on the global EHS training strategy, making recommendations on training methods and instructional approaches to maximize impact and value
* Collaborate effectively across functional teams to define current needs, evaluate learning content, and determine priorities
* Support the creation and maintenance of internal EHS training materials
* Evaluate and manage external vendors such as eLearning content creators, interactive learning methods and platforms where appropriate
* Serve as a specialist for the central EHS team on the company learning management system
* Facilitate the Management of Change process for training changes and updates
* Own and maintain EHS training matrix and profiles, supporting the development of additional profiles as needed
* Own and maintain the EHS College training catalog
* Develop strategies for integrating classroom-based and digital learning methodologies ensuring a smooth blended learning approach for learners
* Provide ongoing instructional design and technical expertise in the development of web-based online learning opportunities, integrating technology in traditional courses and provide instructional technology support

Requirements:

* Bachelors degree with 3+ years experience in Environmental, Health, & Safety fields
* Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design theories a plus
* Cornerstone Learning Management system experience preferred, with system management experience a plus
* Effective project management and leadership skills
* Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills
* Ability to write effective instructional texts and audio/video scripts
* Results-oriented, problem-solving approach with attention to detail
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate an ability to take projects from inception to closure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
* Experience with SharePoint preferred
* Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Vyond animation a plus
