Position Summary
In this challenging role the Parking Manager oversees multiple parking operations of a 24 hours/7 days a week garage/Lots and supervising employees on a daily basis. This is a salaried exempt position.
Essential Duties
* Maintain effective client relations. Respond immediately to clients request and provide assistance in a timely manner.
* Maintain and perform light repairs of the revenue control system. Contact service representatives for malfunctions and needed repairs or any jobs covered by the contract.
* Provide excellent customer service. Assist customers and respond professionally and tactfully to customer complaints.
* Report to the operations manager on a daily basis on all aspect of operations
* Responsible for planning, scheduling and staffing of all Rave events and reports to operations manager of any concerns that needs urgent attention.
* Coordinate with event organizers and event staff on event days.
* Schedule employees to ensure that all breaks are provided. Make recommendations to the Operation Manager on progressive discipline and manage the employees performance evaluations.
* Keep a routine inspection check on the property to ensure the garages are clean and safe to the public and report any safety issue to the city maintenance team for immediate attention.
* Review videos of any unsafe driving to PCOs.
* Ensure adequate staffing to meet the needs of the public during special events.
* Implement company procedures and complete required daily, weekly, monthly and yearly transaction reports.
* Implement Company safety programs to ensure compliance of safety regulations.
* Report all incidents and client concerns and requests to the Operation Manager.
* Ensure facilities are clean projecting a positive image of the Company.
* Handle special projects assigned by the Operation Manager.
* Maintain monthly & daily parking audit program as set within the Standard Operating Procedures.
* Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between ABM Parking Services and the client.
* Help on special events as and when needed
* Help in training event staff of best customers service approach
* Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelors degree.
* Must have a minimum of three (3) years related experience. Work experience in the parking industry preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word and Lotus Notes.
* Excellent leadership skills.
