Our Supply Chain team ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Finance and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan and ensure we get products to the right customer, at the place, at the right time.
Position Description:
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a highly motivated individual to support Vaccine Operations. As part of the Data Center of Excellence, the Operation Steward position is responsible for system sustainment activities in Master Data change management. This includes creation and design of standardized business processes and troubleshooting errors.
Primary Responsibilities
* Development of business process, documentation, associated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), knowledge transfer, training and change management
* Using SAP and PAS-X, business process knowledge, and SOPs to maintain alignment with global business processes and site regulatory requirements
* Position requires working independently and in collaboration with site and network stakeholders in operations and other functional areas and processes
* Communicating and interacting with other Operational, Process, and Information Stewards to resolve issues regarding business processes, transactional, or master data and acting as a liaison to Global Process Stewards through the community of practice forum to ensure alignment with Global Procedures and Division regulatory requirements
* Executing sustainment activities for which the site is accountable, including but is not limited to incident reporting, and manual controls
* Data analysis, data accuracy, and comprehension of transactional and master data in the context of business area using the data. In addition, this role may involve sustainment of related master data
* Making recommendation to enhance workflow and increase efficiency
* Interactions with other sites or functional areas and may involve some travel (5% - 10%)
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement
* Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science or Business OR other Bachelor degree and five years of Operations, Technology, Quality, or Material Handling Experience
Required Experience and Skills
* Minimum two years in a vaccine or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Operations, Quality, Process Engineering, or similar related support role
* Minimum one year using SAP in Operations, Quality, Process Engineering, or similar related support role
Preferred Experience and Skills
* Vaccine operations (direct or support role)
* PAS-X Manufacturing Execution System
* Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and GMP Change Management Principles
* Authoring, managing, and executing changes to SAP master data used for production execution or material handling
* General knowledge of supply chain management business processes
