Current Need:
Our Central Fill Center is looking for a dynamic and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This is a fantastic chance to work for a company that has the rare mix of being a fun, yet high-paced and professional work environment. We are currently adding the following shift to our team:
* Full Time Evenings
* Sunday through Thursday 2:00pm to 10:30pm
* Flexibility is needed as the maintenance team is critical to daily operations and will work over when necessary
* One Saturday a month, both the Maintenance and I.T. teams work on projects that cannot be completed during normal operation times
Position Description: As a member of the maintenance team, the technician works within McKessons Central Fill Pharmacy Operation on site with our customer. This role involves supporting facility staff by performing preventive maintenance, daily equipment upkeep, building maintenance and working with contractors for facilities and equipment needs. Production type environment controlled by PLCs and pneumatic devices such as Actuators, Solenoid Valves and, Pressure Regulators. Primary equipment includes automated filling/dispensing robots, cappers, unscramblers, labelers, scanners, conveyor system, sorting system and compressors.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician position involve:
* Perform precision maintenance on automated robotic equipment - includes preventive maintenance, general upkeep and daily cleanings. Equipment such as New England Machinery - automated cappers and Parata Pharmaceuticals - Robotic Dispensing devices.
* Perform general maintenance/PMs of production equipment may include troubleshooting (Labelers, Conveyors, Scales, Diverters, Motors, Air Compressors, Pneumatic Devices, Compactors, Power Equipment, Printers)
* Perform general building maintenance (air conditioning/heating, plumbing, electrical, lighting, interior upkeep), trash removal
* Order supplies for spare parts inventory and production
* Cleaning and removal of dust and debris of production system - daily vacuuming
* Maintains outside grounds (based on appearance, complaints, and procedures)
* Manage and maintain spare parts inventory, making sure to keep min and max levels
* Manage CMMS system
* Assign and follow-up on workorders
* Completes safety inspections and makes corrections where necessary
* Works with outside contractors when needed on facilities and equipment repairs
* Proactively engages production workforce for feedback on maintenance related items
* Performs other projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred technical training or equivalent experience
* 1+ years experience in general maintenance or repair position.
* Basic PC skills - WinXP, Win 7, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Must be able to work multiple shifts when needed and some weekends
* Experience performing most mechanical and minor electrical repairs
Additional Skills/Knowledge:
* Maintaining precision equipment
* Experience recognizing and analyzing a problem and developing a course of action
* Ability to read electrical schematics and skilled in basic electrical repair with 460, 220 and 120VAC
* Knowledge of working with 24Volt DC circuits controlling PLCs, photoeys, limit switches and Solenoid Valves
* Troubleshoot Ethernet cabling and I/O RS232/RS422 cabling
* Knowledge of SMC and Allen Bradley type of products
* Ability to work with and understand PLCs (programmable language code) devices
* Experience with air compressors and precision pneumatic equipment
* Maintenance analytics able to log and analyze data to prioritize work (i.e., downtime analysis)
Physical Requirements:
* (Lifting, standing, etc.) Lifting up to 50lbs, six hours per day
* Bending, stooping, kneeling, four hours per day
* On feet, 8+ hours per day
* Infrequent climbing
