UP Health System Portage is seeking an Athletic Trainer to join our dynamic team of professionals to provide exceptional quality, compassionate healthcare. Our sports medicine team provides prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to high school and collegiate athletes. Our Athletic Trainers are hardworking and caring, and they are proud to offer student athletes the best possible service that they can, every day. This position potentially includes traveling with sports teams, working with athletic training students and interns, and teaching collegiate courses in athletic training.
UP Health System - Portage is located in the Houghton/Hancock community near Lake Superior, home to Michigan Technological University and Finlandia University. Job Requirements

Graduate of an Athletic Training program
Licensure/Certification
BOC certification
Licensure in the state of Michigan
BLS certification
Annual Influenza Vaccination Required

Position Details:
1.0 FTE (40 hours per week or more)
Variable shifts/weekends
