Job Description:
The Facilities Engineering group is looking for a CAD and Revit modeler/drafter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting and designing according to the given specifications along with assisting and coordinating projects. Additionally, the ideal candidate can change direction to meet the ever-changing needs of the department, work with little direction/information and demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
This role will be responsible for:
* Drafting construction documents based on the architect and MEP engineers designs.
* Update reviewed/marked up drawings.
* Surveying and updating our existing building models in AutoCAD.
* Review and approve shop submittals.
* Develop and implement transition plan from AutoCAD to Revit.
* Manage original construction documents and drawing files.
* Further develop and implement drafting standards.
* CAD models must be accurate

Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree, Engineering preferred
* 4 years professional Engineering Drafter or similar experience using AutoCAD and Revit
* 4 years professional experience with the entire Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Bluebeam (preferred)
A technical degree is a plus: i.e. engineering technology, electrical or mechanical engineer, architectural, etc.
Experience with estimating construction costs a plus
Detail oriented
Microsoft Project or other scheduling software (preferred)
8 years relevant professional experience as an Engineering Drafter in lieu of a degree will be considered.
