In this position you will be working with a team of highly energized Application Engineers with a wide range of competencies and interests (HPC software enabling and optimization, and Artificial Intelligence to name a few). Your responsibilities will be quite diverse and of a technical software nature: with us you will develop and port HPC (High Performance Computing) related software at varying levels of the Software stack. You will have the opportunity to work with technical experts and gain a solid understanding of High Performance Computing (HPC), performance benchmarking and technical documentation targeted to internal and external software developers.

You must currently be pursuing a MS degree program, ideally a PhD, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related area.

You must possess required qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor for us.

We anticipate you've acquired this experience as a result of a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or any prior internship experiences

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

Pursuing a MS degree program, ideally a PhD, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related area.

6+ months experience with:
- Programming experience in C and/or C++ Programming Language
- Graduate course in HPC, GPGPU programming with hands-on
- Basic understanding of computer architecture
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience working with complex build environments like CMake, Make
- Experience publishing conference papers and/or technical reports

Preferred Qualifications::

6+ months experience in:

- Experience in OpenCL
- Experience in OpenMP
- Experience in CUDA
- Experience in SYCL
