Key Responsibilities
* Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including amp meters.
* Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and NFPA codes.
* Performs calibration of instruments using various testers as stated on manufacturer manuals or standard work document.
* Identify and react to facility and equipment related maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
* Performs minor facility and equipment repairs as directed/supervised by management.
Position Criteria
* Ability to work in a hot and humid environment 15 20% of the time (dip room 105F 40 % humidity
* Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
* Ability to climb stairs and ladders
* Must be able to pass a pulmonary function test (PFT)
YOU MUST HAVE
* High School Diploma or GED.
* 3+ years of Maintenance Technician or Mechanic experience including fabrication using lathes, mills, and shop equipment.
* 3+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
WE VALUE
* Associates degree or Technical certificate
* 2-3 years of knowledge of PLC
* Electrical background including troubleshooting low and high voltage circuits. - E.g power system knowledge, breakers panels, transformers, VFDs and switch gears.
