Key Responsibilities

* Play a key role in payroll related projects
* Ability to apply advanced knowledge of processes, technologies and systems in support of team and customer issues/requests and completion of routine assignments
* Ability and interest in working in a virtual team environment with a dynamic group of individuals with diverse backgrounds
* Make sound decisions and recommendations based on balanced consideration of facts, priorities, resources, constraints, and alternatives
* Take responsibility for any task taken on or assigned and take pride in the work done
* Provide proactive problem resolution to eliminate process defects
* Ensure a cross functional role with processing, tax, garnishment, and banking
* Improve processes using six sigma and HOS technology
* Act as a change agent with customers to drive change and improve processes
* Research US, PR, and Canadian issues based on time of the year
* Comply with tax updates and required legislation changes
* Open mail, sort, and distribute to specific locations
* Purchasing of supplies, envelopes, checks to ensure timely delivery with payroll runs
* Printing, sealing, postmarking checks, advices, year-end forms in compliance with legislation
* Manage the reporting of check stock, envelope inventory, and maintenance of sealer machine
* Monitor Salesforce activity and timely resolution of customer requests and/or problems within 24 hours.
* 65+% of this work is independent

Must Have

* 2 years of experience in Payroll
* Associates degree
