POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the safe, accurate and rational distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees and designated areas of the hospital, as well as the supervision of technical staff. This shall be carried out in accordance with all state/federal laws, TJC standards, and hospital/department policies and procedures. The general clinical pharmacist is responsible for providing general clinical and pharmacy services. May be required to work at Ocala Regional Medical Center, West Marion Community Hospital, and/or The Free Standing Emergency Department as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 4 year Bachelor Degree or Pharm.D. required. Residency experience preferred.
* Pharmacist or New Graduate Eligible for State Licensure required.
* 1 - 3 years of pharmacy experience preferred.
