JOB SUMMARY: Work as a member of an Employee Health and Occupational Medicine team to provide nursing care for the comfort and well being of employees and individuals in the community. Administers vaccines. Documents care delivery, patient condition, reaction and progress. Provides patient education.
Required Education: Graduate/Certification from one of the following:AAMA - American Association of Medical Assistants Certified Medical Assistant (CMA credential)AMT- American Medical Technologists- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA credential)ARMA- American Registry of Medical Assistants-(ARMA credential)NCCT- National Center for Competency Testing- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA credential)AMCA- American Medical Certification Association- Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC credential)NHA- National Healthcareer Association- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA credential)
Preferred Education: None
Required License: Must have and maintain a current certification. BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment.
Preferred Experience: Minimum two (2) years experience working in an ambulatory clinic. Possess an ability to function in a high stress, physically demanding setting.
