support our government client's activities in the Northern Virginia locations.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Risk Management Senior Advisor supports and manages the responsibilities of the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects.
As a Risk Manager, you will assist in the development of a standardized, enterprise-level Risk Management Process. The Risk Manager will assess, analyze, propose mitigation and manage the creation, tracking and closure of risks, issues and opportunities (R/I/Os) related to the successful completion and/or delivery of a US Government product or service.
* Provides technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions
* Facilitate risk management efforts (i.e., risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning) for all product IPTs
* Facilitate and/or brief multiple meetings or forums weekly and or monthly
* Communicate risk posture and project information to stakeholders
* Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
* Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner.
* Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas Ability to multitask and change focus quickly if necessary
* Participate in special projects as required.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience
Risk Management experience
* Ability to interact comfortably with Senior Government Leadership and Team members on a day-to-day basis.
* Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential.
Desired Qualifications:
* Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)
* ITIL V3 Foundations
