Currently, we are seeking an Oracle Database Senior Administrator with solid Oracle DBA skills for the Applications, Infrastructure and Systems Support Third Iteration (AISS III) contract at Scott AFB, IL. The selected candidate must have or be able to obtain government security clearance, per contract requirements (Clearance Level: Secret).

AISS III provides systems engineering, migration, integration and sustainment, service lifecycle management, system, network and database administration, training, testing, architecture and system design, configuration and asset management, and information assurance support.

Our Oracle Database Senior Administrator:
* Implements and maintains smooth operation and physical design of databases.

* Conducts performance tuning of indexes, optimization of storage functionality, and databases in general.

* Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements.

* Maintains security and integrity controls.

* Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization.

* May work with vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience, or Associate's and 4 years' experience, or High School Diploma + 6 years' experience in related field

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
* ITILv3 Foundations; Certified in one of the following: Windows, RedHat, Solaris, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Mongo, VMWare, CISCO, F5, Tivoli
