SUMMARY

The primary purpose of the Associate Informatics Analyst position is to be responsible for establishing, implementing and auditing processes and procedures utilized in FM applications. Impacts all FM operations and provides support to all application users. Assists in providing end user support regarding data sources, as well as guidance in the appropriate use of query building, institutionally support business intelligence and reporting applications. Works with other analysts in the department to provide information to the institution, divisions and departments to support short-term and long-range planning. Provides customer support for the products deployed by the department.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Evaluate Processes Works with the all users to evaluate current processes and requirements and recommend more efficient and effective solutions for automating and improving business processes.

Technical Expertise Will be the Subject Matter Expert that assists users to achieve maximum utilization of delivered system capabilities.

Analysis Auditing work to ensure processes and procedures are being followed. Perform research to improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data. Provide functional and reporting support to Facilities users - identify, evaluate, research, resolve and/or escalate user problems. Responds promptly to customer questions and delivers training and business process documentation where applicable.

Other duties as assigned

Training and Documentation Maintain support and training documentation. Training staff on new and updated work processes.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare or related field. Three years of business/finance experience.

Preferred Education: Master's Level Degree

Preferred Experience: Five plus years of related business, finance or project/process management experience to include three years in a health care setting.

May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
