Position assigns appropriate MRN numbers, schedules procedure appointments, registers patients, validates patient demographic and insurance information, verifies patient insurance eligibility, receives and processes physician orders, checks for compliance, checks physician sanctions, calculates and collects patient liabilities, obtains necessary pre-certifications / authorization for service, and provides exceptional customer service. Pre-Service Access associates work closely with physicians, their staffs, and all hospital departments in concerted effort to provide quality patient care. Leads other Pre-Service Access Associates by example & serves as shift lead in absence of supervisory personnel.

Pre-Service Access associates work closely with physicians, their staffs, and all hospital departments in concerted effort to provide quality patient care. Leads other Pre-Service Access Associates by example & serves as shift lead in absence of supervisory personnel. Maintains the ability to troubleshoot & resolve issues/problems within scope of responsibilities.
