This position reports to the Director, IT Finance and provides financial support to the Information Technology organization, which has a total $1.7B global IT Budget. This position will coordinate the overall financial processes, including annual operating budgets, projections, and monthly/quarterly close. They will help shape the overall messages and presentations for the ITLT, corporate finance, and LT.
Responsibilities include:
* Partnering with the IT leadership team to provide financial management and strategic guidance.
* Build summarized views of IT financials based off of lower level details and assemble into presentations for the ITLT, LT, and Corporate Finance. Including interpreting results into a meaningful story that connects to the overall IT strategy.
* Assist with integration financials (Synergies, Cost to Achieve, financial harmonization) related to all current and future acquisitions.
* Identify business trends, report monthly results, and provide variance analysis. Identify risks & opportunities to the business while challenging barriers to performance.
* Help ensure accuracy of IT financials liaising with Technical Accounting and BCF when required
* Assist with process improvement initiatives related to Run/Demand spend.
* Collaborate with the IT Finance extended team to ensure consistency of reporting and support, working closely to solve problems and create new processes.
* Provide performance metrics and ad hoc analysis as needed.
Qualifications
* Strong accounting, financial, and analytical skills
* Strong communication and presentation skills needed, including the ability to understand complex matrixed financials and be able to articulate IT drivers of change in a simplified way.
* Bachelors degree in finance or accounting (CPA and/or MBA in finance preferred)
* Minimum 7 years experience in finance, accounting, auditing, business analysis or operations role.
* Demonstrated business partnering skills and strong collaboration experience (inside and outside of finance)
* Working knowledge or greater of BMS financial systems, including SAP and Hyperion.
* The successful candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to make decisions independently.
* Understanding and having an interest in Information Technology environments and technology trends preferred.
