The Boeing Global Services is seeking a Senior Manager, Component Repair and Manufacturing to lead 3 sites in their Global Technical Operations (GTO) portfolio, including Training Systems Manufacturing in Hazelwood, MO, Avionics Repair in Lemoore, CA, and Component Repair in Fort Walton Beach, FL. In this role, the leader will be responsible for the execution of a varied set of United States and International military repair and manufacturing contracts for a team of approximately 100 touch labor personnel and 4 first line managers. This leader will work with multiple stakeholders and customers across defense and services business to ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are met, provide strategic direction, support innovative process improvements, and develop employees. Location can be in either Hazelwood, MO, Fort Walton Beach FL, or Lemoore, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

* Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.

* Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

* Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

* Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

* Manages the development and execution of lean and enterprise best practices at each site.

* Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

* Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

* Currently have a Bachelor's degree or higher

* 3+ years of experience leading others in a manufacturing environment

* 1+ years of experience in Lean process implementation

* Less than 1 year of experience working proposals and program start up activities

* 1+ years of experience leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within manufacturing

* Capable of traveling up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* Experience with schedule management, integration of all logistics elements and customer communication

* Experience working in environments supporting multiple customers and/or work cells in parallel
