Merrill Platform Experience Team (PET) Investment Consultants help new clients and prospective clients with beginning a new Merrill account relationships and review the full breadth and value of the Merrill platform. Consultants are responsible for welcoming new clients to Merrill Edge via outbound calls, educating them on the capabilities of the platform and deepening the relationship with additional products and services via holistic goal based conversations. Investment Consultants demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets by applying key principles appropriately to the individual client's investment needs. Additionally, they align Merrill Lynch and Bank of America products and services where appropriate. Ultimately, consultants are in a position to make a new clients first experience with Merrill Edge a memorable one that will lead to additional business in the future. Required Skills: Must have these skills to be minimally qualified

* Series 7, and 66 or equivalent (if not currently held, Series 66 must be obtained within 90 days)
* 1 year of financial advisory or investment sales experience strongly preferred
* Passion for excellence and willingness to work to exceed client expectations
* Strong computer skills with an ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
* Bachelor's degree (business related discipline strongly preferred), or 1-2 years relevant work experience

Enterprise Role Overview:

Investment Consultant I's are phone-based licensed representatives that provide prospects and self-directed investors with financial assistance by identifying broader product and service solutions that meet their investment and savings needs. Investment Consultants demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets and apply key principles appropriately to the individual client's investment needs. Additionally, they align Merrill Lynch and Bank of America products and services where appropriate. Licensing requirements are as follows: Series 7, 66 or their equivalent. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
