Clerk II -- Decatur, IL
This is a non-exempt level position
Position Summary:
This role involves working within the company warehouse management system, working with inventory, bill paying, and facilitation of payroll.
Job Responsibilities:
* General gatekeeper for the location answer phone, transfer calls, coordinate with the scale clerk, domestic shipment clerk, export clerk, and inventory clerk
* Inbound/outbound shipment accuracy including exceptions, reconciliation and corrections within warehouse management system
* Reports covering inventory, scale logs, shipments and inbound loads, breaking down BOLs
* Make custom placards and labels and assist other clerks with accuracy
* Keep a general overview of the warehouse management system and being proactive in keeping accuracy to a maximum
* Tracking cycle counts, returned goods within inventory, logging damaged product
* Reports covering reconciliation, unload receipts, transfers and adjustments
* Adjusting Warehouse Management System and IBM
* Daily tracking and submission of weekly payroll and tracking of overtime and absenteeism
* Scheduling for truck appointments
* Manages records and all matters including new hires, terminations and promotions
Job Requirements:
* High School Education
* Some knowledge of IBM-IVGO OPGO and Warehouse Management System is a plus
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
