The Global Head of Treasury leads the team responsible for crafting, articulating and executing Expedia Groups global treasury strategy and operations, including cash management and forecasting, foreign currency risk management, insurance, debt and equity financing.
As a global leader, you are motivated by continuous improvement and a progressive approach, with experience leading a treasury function in a fast-paced, global environment. You will be relationship-oriented and have a passion for collaborating across the organization to understand business needs whilst setting and representing a truly holistic Expedia Group Treasury vision.
What youll do:
* Lead and develop a best-in-class strategy and operations for the global treasury function, continuously evolving the team and function as Expedia Group and the industry evolves
* Be responsible for the cash and short-term investment portfolio, including overnight deposits, time deposits, money market funds and self-directed corporate bond portfolio
* Maintain forecast of near-term and long-term cash requirements, liquidity projections and covenant requirements. Oversee all cash movement throughout the company, considering the impact of market and/or internal events as well as movements between various operating/legal jurisdictions
* Lead all aspects of foreign exchange risk by assessing exposure and crafting FX revenue and balance sheet hedging strategies
* Coach, develop and lead a highly experienced team, providing mentorship, feedback and direction; creating a work environment where people can realize their full potential; thus, allowing the organization to meet current and future business challenges
Who you are:
* Strategic leadership experience as a Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer (2) in a publicly traded (technology) company
* A true partner to the CFO and finance leadership, providing forward-thinking counsel
* Multifaceted global treasury operations leadership and passion to play a driving role in this area. Experienced building/evolving and implementing treasury controls and processes in a large dynamic multinational organization
* Experience working with banks on complex global banking, payment processing and cash management solutions
* Deep knowledge of insurance and risk management functions handled in Treasury
* Tried situational leadership skills and the ability to motivate and generate enthusiasm with individuals across all levels of the organization
* Ability to balance multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and accountability, in a constantly fast-evolving environment
* Advanced degree in finance field or related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience
