Become a Project Management Office (PMO) Lead at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, youll be a critical member of the Grid Services Project Office for Project Controls and Governance within the Grid Services Network & Telecom System Integration Services department. Responsible for oversight and governance of all capital projects from in-take, tracking and reporting, close-out, performance monitoring and trending of over $100M in telecommunications and Power System Controls projects including large Transmission and Distribution (T&D) grid projects, Corporate Resources facility projects, IT network projects, and internal network refresh projects. Responsible for managing the development and implementation of the Grid Services Project Management. Provide direction and make strategic decisions regarding changing overall Grid Services capital project portfolio scope, policy, development, and implementation.

* Manage the strategic vision and daily operations of a project management office, applies governance and controls, trends behaviors and metrics and leads improvement initiatives.
* Provide leadership to project support staff to oversee portfolio performance, manage project quality assurance, and develop processes and systems to manage portfolios.
* Contribute to the development of overall engineering, IT, and T&D business plans in support of corporate objectives.
* Oversee, develop, enhance, and maintain project management tools, reporting, and databases.
Qualifications
The essentials
* Ten (10) or more years of experience in project/program/contract management, telecommunications, network infrastructure, and/or construction project management experience.
* Experience managing and executing technical related projects, including identifying, maintaining, and/or adjusting the cost, scope, resources, and overseeing the formal planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance, as well as some experience managing cross-functional teams.
The preferred
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant technical discipline.
* ITIL V3 certified and PMP.
