Job Description

( Location to be Determined ) The Law Firm Client Advisor is a strategic member of Citi Private Bank Law Firm Group who closely follows the latest trends in the law firm industry, and leverages Citis proprietary database of law firm financial data to advise LFGs clients on legal industry trends, firm performance and their financial strategy. Deep knowledge of the law firm industry and excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills required in order to gain the trust and respect of the senior leadership of law firms. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and build strong relationships within Citi.

Responsibilities:

* Provide thought leadership to the legal industry via peer reviews, publications of research, analysis, and survey findings, and speaking engagements.
* The teams Client Advisors are supported by a group of Business Analysts, who are responsible for administering the surveys, maintaining the databases, and creating much of the collateral that is then shared with clients
* Provide analytical support to the Advisory Services Group
* Be an integral part of the production of over 200 tailored comparative presentations throughout the year
* Interface with clients to conduct peer review, presentations and industry insights
* Maintain and mine databases of survey results
* Build relationships and work closely with Bankers to provide relevant and timely advice to clients
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years of experience
* Experience in law firms a plus, ideally in law firm operations or finance
* Demonstrated interest in finance and law
* Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong leadership skills
* Proficiency and aptitude in utilizing MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint

Education:

* Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
