Job Description-
Shareholder Services - S3 Supports professional and management staff by providing large quantities of data related to, among others, financial transactions, account information and transaction processing to be used in responses to the complicated client inquiries on a daily basis. Responds to ad hoc requests for non-standard information. Processes complex updates to shareholder accounts.
Responsibilities Include:

* Serves as an escalation point for more junior team members. Assists professional and management staff by responding to phone, email and other inquiries regarding fund information, services and procedures.
t
* Responds to questions about shareholder accounts and provides more advanced technical assistance. Responses are fast, efficient and accurate.
t
* Addresses issues that have been escalated by junior team members and verifies their responses to shareholders.
t
* Researches and resolves moderately complex operational or shareholder issues.
t
* Routes issues that cannot be addressed at point of contact to appropriate team, in accordance with documented procedures.
t
* Assists in providing status updates on problem resolution and outstanding issues to professional and management teams.
t
* Assists with process improvement by contributing ideas to improve team efficiency.
t
* No direct reports. Provides guidance to less experienced staff. Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
Additional Responsibilities:
t
* supports institutional relationships consisting of banks, major corporations & broker/dealers.
t
* facilitates the execution of client-initiated transactions.
t
* work closely with the transfer agency to facilitate timely resolutions of client requests.
t
* assist clients in rectifying issues with missing documentation
t
* individual in this role must have the ability to work well under pressure to meet time sensitive deadlines, have excellent communication skills, and possess interpersonal and organizational skills.
t
* may be asked to participate in special projects initiated by management.
Qualifications
Requirements:
t
* High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
t
* Series 6, 7, and Series 63 preferred
t
* Bachelors degree preferred
t
* 2-3 years of total work experience preferred
t
* Experience in financial services preferred
