This position reports into the Wireless Technology Mobility Access and Architecture team. The Professional System Engineer will be responsible for:

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Design, develop and document requirements for business tools
3rd party vendor management
Tool lifecycle/project management
Managing migration and development of Business Intelligence (BI) Tools
Automation of business and technical processes
Experience with User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) development and testing
Ability to interact and support industry partners needs
Develop and manage REST/SOAP APIs
Develop requirements for data flows to and from business tools

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related degree; Developer Nano Degree; or equivalent relevant technical experience.
Experience:
3-5 years of technical experience, desired with mobile networks and/or radio access network technologies
3-5 years of roles in Solution Architecture
Desired:
Knowledge of Internet protocols including Transport layer (TCP/IP, UDP) Application Layer (HTTP /HTTPs, DNS, SIP and FTP) Internet layer (IPv4/IPv6) and Link layer (ARP, NDP, MAC)
Knowledge in Cloud architecture including virtualization, databases (E.G. - Azure, Couch-base) and Geo-redundancy.
Automation or scripting skills preferred (Python)
Subject matter expertise in Solution Architecture
Cloud Certifications (Azure, AWS) preferred
Front End/Back End development skills preferred (HTML, JS, PHP, CSS)
Database Skills preferred (SQL, Oracle, Vertica, Teradata)
IoT/Cellular/Wireless/Smartphone device experience highly desired
Work efficiently with technical and business-oriented teams.
Organized, detail-oriented, good oral and written skills
