Are you a recent Finance Grad looking for an entry level analyst position? We are working with a growing company just outside of the downtown Pittsburgh area that is looking for an Entry Level Financial Analyst to fill a role as a Reconciliations Specialist!
The daily tasks of the Reconciliations Specialist will include:
- Assist the trust and investment department by reconciling cash balances, investments, and completing bank reconciliations
- Review income and dividend payments, analyze transactions for accuracy
- Create financial statements based on client portfolio and investments
- Research and resolve any account or investment discrepancies
- Prepare monthly statements and reports detailing investment balances for clients
To be considered for this Reconciliations Specialist role, you MUST meet all or most of the following requirements:
- Recently obtained a Bachelors Degree where you majored or concentrated in Finance
- Must have knowledge of investment terminology
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (include data manipulation, advanced formulas such as vLookups, pivot tables, and formatting skills)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (you will be on the phone and responding to emails, as well as corresponding with other internal departments)
The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, normal business hours, 40 hours per week.
Currently, this department is working remotely but you will be expected to go onsite periodically for trainings and meetings. Eventually, this position will be onsite at their location just outside of downtown Pittsburgh, PA. You must be willing to go onsite to be considered.
