The PM will be responsible for the day to day project and client management for multi- discipline architectural and engineering design services for buildings and facilities projects and teams from the initial planning through construction phase. The portfolio of work includes a wide variety of project sizes with a focus on Department of Defense and/or healthcare work.
Specific duties include:
* Working with the project Principal-in-Charge throughout all phases of the project to obtain client satisfaction and financial project performance.
* In conjunction with the Principal-in-Charge, successfully develop strategy, prepares proposals, negotiate contracts, and execute project(s).
* Communicate with clients and project teams which will include public agencies
* Development and management of project schedules and budgets
* Quality assurance.
* May include management of teams across business lines, in remote locations and/or management of subcontractors.
* Business development and marketing support for proposals and presentations.
* Facilitate team communication, coordination and collaboration to support assigned projects.
* Collaborator and mentor
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering discipline and 6+ years of project management experience managing multi-discipline architectural engineering building and facilities design projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
* Licensed Professional Engineer or Architect
* Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is a required.
Preferred Qualifications
* 12+ years experience within an architectural/engineering profession
* Management of U.S. Department of Defense projects preferred
* LEED Accreditation a plus
* PMP Certification a plus
* Security Clearance a plus
* Experience in design build and other alternate delivery methods
* Excellent strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
