You Are:

* Responsible for working with the client organization and architecture team to define the Enterprise Architecture Strategy for modernization and digital transformation
* Facilitating IT landscape assessment proactively identifying new technologies, tools, and skillsets to incorporate into the Enterprise Architecture
* Lead team of architects and digital transformation experts to deliver to the defined architecture and solution plan

The Work:

* Manage the development of the EA Capability Model, Target Architecture, Blueprints, and Roadmaps bringing together business vision and IT to enable outcomes.
* Manage Enterprise Architecture Organization and Capability Model assessments against industry standards identifying areas for improvement
* Manage Enterprise Architecture Organization and Capability Model assessments against industry standards identifying areas for improvement
* Manage development an Agile architecture process to enable more proactive and collaborative architecture at all levels
* Manage development of the IT Data Strategy and associated Conceptual Architecture and Roadmap

Qualifications

Here Is What You Need:

* Bachelors Degree or 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect for a large Enterprise Architecture organization
* Experience in developing IT strategies to drive legacy modernization
* Experience in Enterprise Architecture and expert knowledge in various EA frameworks in one or more of the following: Federal Enterprise Architecture, Federal Transition Framework, the OMB Enterprise Architecture Assessment Framework, and/or the GAO Enterprise Architecture Assessment Framework
* Experience in ensuring a federal agency is compliant with OMB's annual and quarterly EA assessments
* Broad technical aptitude, knowledge and experience across application, information, technology, and process domains include Cloud technologies, Open Source Software and Service Oriented Architectures
* Deep understanding of the architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices
* Excellent communication skills ability to work with all levels of an organization from C-suite to operational staff
* Ability to develop strong working relationships with both Business and IT organizations
* Strong strategic planning capabilities
* Understanding of development and project management processes and methodologies including common roles, responsibilities, and key work products including both waterfall and Agile methods

Bonus Points If:

* Advanced Degree
* 10+ years of industry experience
* Federal Government Enterprise Architecture experience
* The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification
